OESC ANNOUNCES CHANGES IN UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFIT FILING FOR RESIDENTS IN THE ANTLERS AREA

Oklahoma Employment Security Commission
Executive Director Jon Brock is asking all local print and broadcast news
outlets to notify the public of this change in service for filing unemployment
benefit claims. ANTLERS, OK
– A change is coming in how people in the Antlers area file for unemployment
benefits. The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission announced today that
in-person claims will no longer be taken at the Antlers Workforce Oklahoma
office located at 211 N.W. Third Street beginning August 1, 2003.
This change will not affect other services offered at the office. The job
service interviewer will still be in the office on Monday and Wednesday, and the
veterans representative will continue meet with the public on Thursday.
Customers can expect the same quality service that they have come to rely on. Despite not
taking in-person claims, there are still convenient ways to file your
unemployment claims at the Antlers site. The
office’s resource room computers can be used to file claims over the Internet.
Someone will be available to help people filing in this manner. Customers can
also use Workforce Oklahoma telephones to file their claims through the Oklahoma
City call center free of charge. Those who prefer to deal with a warm body can
file at the Hugo Workforce Oklahoma office located at 107 S. Third Street in
Hugo. Claims are taken there on
Monday at 8:15 a.m. and again at 11:00 a.m. “We
pride ourselves on customer service,” says Cody Cox, Manager of the Antlers
Workforce #
