WORKFORCE OKLAHOMA RELOCATES EDMOND OFFICE

Oklahoma Employment Security Commission Executive Director Jon Brock is asking all print and broadcast news outlets to notify the public about changes in existing service locations.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK –  Beginning November 3, 2003, Edmond’s Workforce Oklahoma Center will relocate to the campus of Francis Tuttle Technology Center at 12777 North Rockwell in Oklahoma City and become the Workforce Oklahoma Rockwell Center. The new location will provide better facilities and better services to our customers. It is important to note that NO SERVICES WILL BE LOST FOR ANYONE currently being served by the Edmond Workforce Oklahoma Center. This move will expand the center’s current service area to northern and northwest Oklahoma City, Edmond, El Reno, and Yukon.

The Edmond Workforce Oklahoma Center, located at 1824 East 2nd Street, will continue offering services until October 31, 2003. The following Monday, November 3, all staff and services will relocate to the Workforce Oklahoma Rockwell Center. After the move, those calling the current Workforce Oklahoma Center phone number (340-4407) will be directed on how to get in touch with the new location.

The Workforce Oklahoma Rockwell Center is a partnership venture between Workforce Oklahoma and Francis Tuttle Technology Center. At the new location, customers will have access to more computers, classrooms for training, better parking and an open atmosphere. Veterans services for the facility is being enlarged, and the Francis Tuttle student body will have direct access to workforce services. The main focus of the move is to allow customers, no matter who they are, to access the Workforce Oklahoma services more easily.
