WORKFORCE
OKLAHOMA RELOCATES EDMOND OFFICE
Oklahoma Employment Security Commission Executive Director Jon Brock is
asking all print and broadcast news outlets to notify the public about changes
in existing service locations. OKLAHOMA CITY, OK –
Beginning November 3, 2003, Edmond’s Workforce Oklahoma Center will
relocate to the campus of Francis Tuttle Technology Center at 12777 North
Rockwell in Oklahoma City and become the Workforce Oklahoma Rockwell Center. The
new location will provide better facilities and better services to our
customers. It is important to note that NO SERVICES WILL BE LOST FOR ANYONE
currently being served by the Edmond Workforce Oklahoma Center. This move will
expand the center’s current service area to northern and northwest Oklahoma
City, Edmond, El Reno, and Yukon. The Edmond Workforce Oklahoma Center, located at
1824 East 2nd Street, will continue offering services until October 31, 2003.
The following Monday, November 3, all staff and services will relocate to the
Workforce Oklahoma Rockwell Center. After the move, those calling the current
Workforce Oklahoma Center phone number (340-4407) will be directed on how to get
in touch with the new location. The Workforce Oklahoma Rockwell Center is a
partnership venture between Workforce Oklahoma and Francis Tuttle Technology
Center. At the new location, customers will have access to more computers,
classrooms for training, better parking and an open atmosphere. Veterans
services for the facility is being enlarged, and the Francis Tuttle student body
will have direct access to workforce services. The main focus of the move is to
allow customers, no matter who they are, to access the Workforce Oklahoma
services more easily. |
