OKLAHOMA GETS (888) 980-WORK Now Connects Oklahomans to the State’s Workforce System Oklahoma Employment
Security Commission Executive Director Jon Brock is asking all print and
broadcast news outlets to notify the public about changes in existing service. OKLAHOMA
CITY, OK – The toll-free phone
number that people use to reach their nearest Workforce Oklahoma location has
changed! Dialing the new phone number, (888) 980-WORK (9675), will now
connect the caller to the closest Workforce Oklahoma location to them. The
service is designed to help those who aren’t sure which office to call in
order to get assistance and to bring workforce services to Oklahomans. Workforce
Oklahoma is a partnership between the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission,
the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, the Oklahoma Department of
Rehabilitation Services, local workforce councils, and other state and community
entities. The one-stop approach used in the design of each Workforce Oklahoma
Center is meant to provide all of the workforce assistance a person could need
